This disclosure is valid from May 10, 2020
SongsFromMemory is a participant in the Amazon Affiliate Program.
Songs From Memory is not an affiliate advertising site. In other words, the purpose of this site is not to advertise products. My primary goal is the share with you the things I learn about our favorite hit songs from the past. However, as this site concerns music that you may want to purchase, I include links to individual songs and albums and other products related to the pages on which the links are placed.
These affiliate links to specific products are placed within articles, specifically to Amazon.com. The fact that I am an Amazon associate is identified on every page of this site. A link to this full disclosure will also be provided.
An affiliate link means that if you click on them and make a purchase, I may be paid a small commission. This affiliate relationship will not increase the price of your purchase. You must make your own determination as to the value and reliability of any products or services linked to from this website.
In addition to textually referenced links to products within articles, other types of Amazon advertisements may appear on pages. These include text and images of recommended products or related products. These will be clearly marked as advertisements. These and other promotional banners advertising special programs or discounts, and clearly identifiable as Amazon promotions, are covered by this general affiliate disclosure.
I am not compelled in any way, by any person or organization, to place certain links to certain products, nor do I ever receive or accept direct compensation for reviewing or linking to a product. The products that I link to within the body of the song articles are chosen by me, at my own discretion, and I will only be paid should you make a purchase from Amazon as a result of clicking on one of these links.
I would ask that if you do purchase a product after clicking on a link from this site, that you allow me to collect this small commission, to help support the site’s expenses, and help me make a living. These commissions in no way add to your cost. However, if you wish to purchase a product after clicking on a link, but would prefer that I not receive a commission, you can disable this commission by clearing your browser cache of any Amazon cookies, or by simply clearing all cookies. Remember that clearing all cookies may sometimes sign you out of membership sites. It is usually possible, however, to clear cookies received only from the last hour, or last several hours, or to specifically clear Amazon cookies.
Here is how to clear Amazon affiliate cookies from chrome (or any other specific cookies).
Copy and paste the following into your address bar:
chrome://settings/siteData into your address bar
In the search box that appears, type Amazon. Look for the cookies named ‘affilate-program.amazon.com. Click the ‘trash’ icon to the right of the cookie to delete these cookies from your browser. You can also search directly for ‘affiliate-program.amazon.com’ but this shouldn’t be necessary, as the specific affiliate cookies should be easy to find in the list of Amazon cookies.
If you make a purchase after clicking an affiliate link, any purchases you make, of course, are at your own discretion, and you should compare and research to make sure you get the product that is best for you.
I have no direct financial relationship, as an employee or consultant, with any company or entity that may advertise on this website, via third party ad networks (Google Adsense), or with any company or entity whose product I may link to.
